  • Keep emergency items on hand - including a one to two week supply of your medications and a copy of your prescriptions.
  • Protect important papers.
  • Create an exit strategy from your rooms, home and the area.
  • Use prevention techniques at home.
  • If you have a pet, plan for your pet's needs.
