  • Follow directions. Take the prescribed amount, when you're supposed to. Don't take more of a drug, or less of a drug, without checking first with your doctor.
  • Stay on schedule.
  • Don't stop early.
  • Keep track of markers.
  • Don't take drug holidays on your own.
  • Do a periodic medicine check-up.
  • Watch drug expiration dates.
