Veterans of the U.S. Armed Services are eligible for a broad array of benefits, from pensions and healthcare to home loans and educational assistance. All programs are administered by the federal government's Department of Veterans Affairs [formerly the Veteran's Administration (VA)].

Almost all states also provide veterans' and veterans' survivor benefits.

Help is available for members of the Navy, Marines and Coast Guard  who are denied benefits or entitlements.
