Macrobiotics
1/1
Macrobiotics is a way of eating that limits what you eat to organically grown whole grains, vegetables, nuts, beans and some seafood and fruit. It avoids the use of highly processed or refined foods and most animal products. Macrobiotics also addresses the manner of eating by recommending against overeating and chewing thoroughly.
Macrobiotics does not cure serious health conditions such as cancer or HIV/AIDS. In fact, macrobiotics can interfere with chemotherapy and other treatments.
Be sure to let each of your doctors know if you are using, or considering a macrobiotic diet.
