Other factors that may affect the amount and severity of nausea and vomiting include:
- Prior experiences with motion sickness.
- Previous bad experience with nausea and vomiting.
- Fatigue.
- Anxiety during treatment.
- Heavy alcohol intake (currently or in the past).
- Being a woman of menstrual age (at greatest risk for severe and long-lasting nausea and vomiting).
