Health insurance benefits have to be continued during FMLA leave. Other benefits don't. unless your employer provides a continuation of benefits for other leave.

When you return to work, your benefits are reinstated as if there had been no leave.

If you don't return to work, you may have to reimburse your employer if the reason you don't return to work is voluntary instead of beyond your control.
