- Celiac disease is an autoimmune disorder that makes it difficult to digest and process gluten proteins. If you are gluten intolerant and you ingest gluten, you could experience symptoms such as severe stomach pains, headaches, skin rashes, and upset stomach. You could also have respiratory issues.
- An autoimmune disease is a condition in which your immune system mistakenly attacks your body. The immune system normally guards against germs like bacteria and viruses. When it senses these foreign invaders, it sends an army of fighter cells to attack them.
